Canine Wellness Kitchen is a food truck for dogs!
Everyone loves a food truck. They’re convenient, sell delicious food, and help the hipster parts deep inside us flourish. No longer are food trucks just for humans, there is now one especially for dogs! Launched in September, The Canine Wellness Kitchen seems to be the first food truck in Australia that supplies to dogs. Katie Crandon and Laura Yeomans created this unique service so they could supply healthy and completely raw foods to canines.
“We always felt that dogs got the short end of the stick when it came to human experiences such as markets, restaurants, cafes and food trucks. Often tied to a pole waiting for their loved ones to return or stuck under a table getting scraps of left over burgers or the odd hot chip. We started to question why should dogs miss out on the dining experience too?”
You’re probably already picturing yourself and your dog enjoying a meal and a beer together in a green open park during Summer (we know we are)! You can find The Canine Wellness Kitchen in dog parks throughout Melbourne City (often in Clayton Reserve Park, or Hank Marvin during summer on Saturdays), at farmers markets, festivals and at food truck parks. To know exactly where and when, follow them on Facebook.
